Holy cow it's been so long lol, whoops. Anyway, here's another section, from Taigas perspective this time :)


She had a dark sort of beauty about her. Her movements were graceful and mysterious. Her face resembled Lucy's, however her eyes were thinner, more judgemental. Those were my first thoughts when I saw Shadow. My face had formed into a look of surprise and wonder, which I had quickly hidden so Lucy wouldn't notice. Despite my efforts both Villa and the boy, whom Shadow had brought with her, had seen my expression. Slightly embarrassed, I put on a fierce face, just as Lucy had followed Villa out of their tent. Shadow didn't hesitate before teleporting away. I remember thinking that it was weird she could teleport, despite not being an Enderman, at least in looks. She wasn't tall, in fact she seemed shorter than a lot of humans. There were other differences in her looks as well. But I hadn't wanted to linger on her for too long so I had crossed my arms over my chest and growled."Why are you here? This is our camp!" I had caught a glance from Lucy and for a moment I worried that she thought I was being too harsh. Her expression showed the opposite however."We found it." The boy looked over at me. His voice was calm and for a moment I had thought he was a ghost. His entire complexion was white, including his clothing. He was obviously a Peak, but how did a Peak get so far out here? So far away from the mountains they call their home? It was at that moment I had noticed the boy's eyes. Most Peaks had eyes the color of clouds. Mostly grey's and rarely an unsaturated purple. However this boy's irises were clear. There seemed to be no color in them."Who are you?""My name is Halo, and this is Shadow."Halo had motioned to the figure appearing out of the woods. This time I managed to hide my expression.Earlier I mentioned that Shadow looked a lot like Lucy, and I'm not saying that Shadow is any prettier than Lucy. I had this same reaction when I saw Lucy for the first time. However I had been able to see Lucy's beauty in parts, since it was dark the first time we met. You may be thinking "oh well she looks like Lucy then you should be used to seeing her already." And to that I sigh. Maybe I should be but I have this habit of over-appreciating beauty whenever I see it. I had been seeing Lucy's specific beauty for so long I was used to it. I had stopped appreciating it. When I saw Shadow I saw the beauty in a different way and appreciated it again. Hence my reaction.
