From 1.6.4 => 1.6.2
As most of you have noticed, 1.6.4 was released today (not much info about it, and I think it's only about bug fixes as I didn't see any new items...)
This also includes that you can't play on 1.6.2 servers anymore (ow no, I wanna play on my fav server, but now I can't ;_;) well, no more worries, because I got a fix for ye'all.
It's actually pretty simple, and most people know about changing minecraft versions, but some of you most likely don't like modding, or changing anything that might totally crash your mc and corrupt your worlds (not that this has anything to do with crashes or corruptions :P)
So, let's start...
BASIC TUTORIAL. (you will have to change it later when minecraft updates)
1: You launch the minecraft launcher.
2: You look at the left bottom corner, and you click the "EDIT PROFILE" button.
3: you see a whole bunch of options, better not touch anything for now.
4: Click the "Use version" drop box, then scroll around until you found 1.6.2, then click that one.
5: click "SAVE PROFILE" on the right bottom corner of the Edit Menu.
6: launch minecraft.
7: Enjoy :D
ADVANCED TUTORIAL (actually not so advanced, but just so you don't have to go through this again when minecraft updates.)
1: Launch the Minecraft Launcher.
2: Look at the left bottom corner, and click "NEW PROFILE"
3: Change the name to whatever you want it to be (best name is just "1.6.2").
4: Click the "USE VERSION" drop box, and select the 1.6.2 release.
5: Click "SAVE PROFILE" on the right bottom corner of the Edit Menu.
6: click on the "PROFILE" drop box, and select 1.6.2.
7: Launch Minecraft.
8: enjoy!
(If you want to change back to "the latest release" profile, so the one that uses the latest minecraft version released for download, click the "PROFILE" drop box and select "default".)
Thanks for reading, I hope it helped you, please leave a diamond, and subscribe for more!
