so im annoying because of what i said about 1.3.2 and how i liked 1.7.3

I like old minecraft. but I still update.

I started at 1.5 and I think I prefer about 1.8 .-. Some of the reasons I prefer "back in the day" is cause a) the grass and leaves were single coloured and I miss being a noob :3 and b) because I remember before I eas a mod on the server I play on and I remember hosting community events in me and Fred's town in Halloween and in winter we covered the place n snow usin snow golems :3

I've been playing Minecraft since 0.27, which was about three years ago. Most people that still play can't say they started that early.

I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha, but I still find that the updates are really fun and well made.

As a player since alpha, I get beat up by the 1.7 players often. It saddens me to see all of the [PVP][GRIEF][TEENAGEWR} servers out there now. I still say notch made minecraft, I still say Jeb ruined it a little. I have not upgraded my Minecraft since an update after the nether was patched in. I refuse to upgrade minecraft, and I will only play in alpha.

Initially, I enjoyed your post. However I think you're being a little to critical of the people you consider to be old school minecrafters, and too aggressive based on bias. I understand your acceptance of the newer updates and the enthusiasm you hold for the recent development that's been going on as a result of jeb because I'm also supportive of the newer updates. But that doesn't mean that I agree that the oldschool minecrafters aren't cool or annoying, I can also understand why they're lamenting the newer additions to minecraft. I've followed minecraft since 1.2 beta and owned the game finally in 1.0. I personally prefer the feel beta had, since it was a lot more limited in resources, but allowed players to utilize any aspect of the game however they wanted while working against challenges imposed by the game's limitations.

While you say that notch turned his back on minecraft, I don't think that notch's retirement from being head of the project is good justification to portray him as this cynical traitor. And one thing that really urked me about this post is your contempt for players that cling to the original feel of minecraft, stating that "Then you have the cool people. The people who are excited for the updates (me and ma friends)."

Which really shows a lot of bias held in your post. I think you had some potential in the post, and it was an interesting read, but your feelings towards the old minecrafters is a little to radical for my taste, and your overly glorified portrayal of yourself and supporters of the new updates results in making you appear to be really egotistical and naive.

Try to turn down the notch a bit in future posts so you're not risking deterring others from following your content and refusing an entire audience that is still a large presence in the minecraft community, the "Oldschool minecrafters" as you say.

I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to give you some feedback as to what I found to be a bit irritating and overly bias.
