‘I sure didn’t expect this’

“Hey.. Brent’s bread and bar is pretty nice.” A boy suggests.

Shadow Zibonzi nods. “Sounds great..” He looks back at Natasha with a creepy smile.

Natasha can’t help but suddenly feel uneasy. ‘A bar?...’ She shivers.

“Yeah.. something wrong?” Shadow Zibonzi asks.

Natasha blushes, realizing she had said it out loud.

“Um.. no not really.. I mean as long as there is no drinking...” She stutters

Shadow Zibonzi laughs. “You gotta be kidding.” He looks amused.

Natasha shakes her head and stops. “Not at all...”

Everyone stops and looks at Natasha. Natasha blushes even more. “Please...I, um... don’t drink...”

“Honestly...” Shadow Zibonzi rolls his eyes then looks at his other classmates.

Natasha nods. ‘Oh...great, now I’ve gotten on their bad side..’ She backs up, prepared to fight if she has to.

Shadow Zibonzi just laughs, then his face gets serious. “Come here.” He says.

Natasha looks around nervously then does as he said. ‘Oh God please help me..’

She stops right in front of him. He grins that creepy grin.

“You really shouldn’t have said that.” He says in a low voice just above a whisper.

Natasha sucks in her breath. She gets prepared to defend herself. When suddenly the school bell rings in the distance. Natasha takes a deep breath. Shadow Zibonzi narrows his eyes. “I will talk to you again later.” Then he turns and walks away back towards the school.

'Oh no, no, no...' Natasha thinks. 'I'm in trouble... I really should talk to Arianwyn about it.'

Shivering, she turns back and gets into school. She feels uneasy since her classmates arewere the Shadow Class and that they look at her in quite a weird way. However, when she steps inside school, she is greeted by the friendly smile of Arianwyn. Natasha rushes to her, as if she was sort of a hideout from the Shadow Class, which seems pretty accurate. Shadow Zibonzi walks to them, and Arianwyn narrow her eyes.

"What are you doing, hiding behind her ? Eh, Natasha ?"

"I..."

"She doesn't have to answer to you." Arianwyn answers coldly. "What do you want, anyways ?"

"Well, she's in our class, so..."

"And ? She has the right to have friends outside of your weirdo group."

"You bitch..." He whispers.

"I'm tired of seeing your face, now. Get lost !"

Shadow Zibonzi, at Natasha's surprise, goes away, mumbling. Arianwyn scoffs and says to Natasha:

"What do they have against you, anyways ?"


Natasha takes a breath stuttering almost. "I told them I don't drink...and now.." Her eyes look frightened.

Arianwyn gives her a warm smile. "Ah I see... nothing to get mad at you about though."

Natasha forces a smile. "I don't know what to do.. I can't go back in there... never !"

Arianwyn takes a breath. "Well, I don't think he...(Clears her throat)...I mean they should bother you..for at least a while."

Natasha nods. "But.. what do I do when they do...I'm frightened to death by them... especially Shadow Zibonzi.. he kind of creeps me out."

Arianwyn gives her a small smile showing her pretty white perfect teeth. "Don't worry.. I'm always here for you."

Natasha's face lights up. "Aw.. thanks." She looks as though no one has ever been this nice to her before.
