Why do we judge newbs? Why don't people give them a chance?
It may be because people think they are uncapable of doing anything. Some newbs will stay newbs, but some, if given the chance will show excellence.
So make sure that you give every newb you come across a chance to be AWESOME!
10 ways you can help a noob:
1. GIve them wood.
2. Help them build a house.
3. Give them advice on how to do security.
4. Help them out ( Take them under your wing )
5. Respect them
6. Talk to them like you would to the whole world.
7. Take them adventuring with you.
8. Help defend them from mobs.
9. Talk to them about stuff, in general.
10. Have fun with them.
Tell me how these work out. :)
Here is some examples of things you can do to help a newb out:
Your on your favorite server and you see a 'Steve' walking around the spawn looking lost. You could:
A) Ask if their lost.
B) Tell them if they need any help.
C) Ignore them because they have a Steve skin.
Plus newb is pretty much a name for newbie's, we are all 'newbs' at some point in our lives, wether it's at soccer, or playing the piano.

1) Teach them how to mine
2) Ask them if they got anything valuable
3-4) If they say no, then leave them be, but if they say yes, beat the heck out of them!

As with life, everyone goes about different doing different things with different goals. I for one, would like to become a well known indie game maker/programmer.
But I still consider myself a noob in that regard. I can barely make a tiled game as it is. But my programming skills are ok.
Define Noob/Newbie. Someone who is NEW to SOMETHING. Within Minecraft, there are many elements that make up the game. Building/Architecture, Fighting, Redstone, Exploring; It is all part of Minecraft. I am a noob when it comes to Redstone, Fighting, Exploring, Building/Architecture, so I must be a total noob. But then again, I have my own custom skin.
Skins are nothing to prove someones skill level, just like judgement of how a person looks (as a note, I agree with this blog).
I would like to say to everyone who reads this blog... Think carefully about all the things that you are proud of in your life, and then think back to when you first started participating in it and started to work towards becoming better. Honestly think to yourself, would people call me a noob?
The answer will always be yes.
