Hello again guys. Today I am going to talk to you guys about another thing that I've noticed on PMC. I have recently seen some mods that are excellent and some that are bad. So, enjoy

Recently, I have been seeing mods with the title 'My first mod' or 'My mod'. They also have a picture something like a skin of something in the mod or just something else. I'd like to point out that there 'better' mods than those. Mods with pictures that have been hard-worked on and done nicely would most likely be a good/great/excellent mod. Honestly, I think mods that add one thing are just a waste of time. Even mods that have a re-textured sword seem to me like a waste of space on your computer and a waste of time.

What Makes a Good Mod?

Good mods often have a good picture and add a decent amount of new stuff to the game. They add things that Notch probably wouldn't add to the game. For example: Invisible Creepers, Kryptonite, Pandas etc. Good mods also have most likely been made by a person on PMC that is a high enough level, like 5 or 6. But, you can have level 1 or 2 people that make a decent mod. I honestly don't want to make a mod. But, in future I might change my mind (Hint, hint). But back on topic, good mods also have either no glitches or hardly any. A mod with a great deal of glitches can lead to: Extreme lag, Crashed game and even damage to your computer. But don't worry, as it is unlikely to damage your computer though ;).

What Makes a Bad Mod?

Bad mods often have loads of glitches, bad addings and even have lag. A person that makes a bad mod often has a bad/horrible/un-suitable picture for the mod. It is unlikely that would of made a good picture because they didn't put much effort into their mod. Bad mods also add tiny things like: Shorter grass, Less coal and Tamed wolves have glasses. These sort of mods aren't really that worth it for downloading it. But, if someone has made a bad mod, give them your opinion in the comments such as 'I don't like your mod, but good try for making. Maybe you should make another one. But make sure you spend a lot of time and effort in to making it.'. But, don't intentionally post a mod just to get XP. Put effort and time into it. My motto I go by is 'A good effort equals good results'.
