IGEBMSo, because I'm grounded, I couldn't go to the D&D Club session on Saturday, May 20th (last weekend). However, Duncan did tell me what happened (after joking that everyone was killed).
Presumably, Gage gave the others a recap of what happened at the last session. We had just met a new friend, Aven, who aided us in battling a black dragon and his pet toad, Rupert. Following the battle, we looted his cave, with Henry taking a magical great axe and glistening shield, Aven taking a Wand of Magic Missiles, and Blaze taking a potion of flying. I distributed the 6200 silver pieces and 1430 gold pieces evenly between us, and we also left with 2 garnet gems, a black pearl, and a potion of healing. Finally, we returned to the dwarven forge, which was being reopened to the public after we rid part of the mine of a necrotic curse. There, we picked up five weapons from the forge to sell in Mirabar, and left. On our way back to Mirabar, we ran into a pair of frost giants who we began fighting. The session ended with a tree thrown by one of the giants nearly hitting me.
Since I couldn't be there, my character basically just slept through the entire session, and the others defeated the frost giants and then carried me back to Mirabar, where we got our payment and then entered downtime. (Basically, we're on a break from adventuring and can do whatever we want in Mirabar.)
Sorry this wasn't as a long as the other "episodes," but my friends didn't give me more details about what we did.
The Cast
From one head of the table and clockwise, here’s our cast of characters:
Me (Gaél) as Dragus, a black Dragonborn wizard who often stays behind to cast ranged spells like Firebolt and Magic Missile from afar without taking damage from the people we’re fighting (currently MIA due to being grounded)
Grayson as Ash, an Aasimar rogue who is extremely lucky, which is perfect, since he always ends up being in situations where he comes close to death, such as when he was in the belly of a roper and when a table came to life and crushed his ribs, almost killing him in one blow
Julia as Blaze, an Elf ranger armed with a bow, and who usually does most of the fighting alongside Henry
Gage as the Dungeon Master, which is pretty self-explanatory, but for those who don’t know, he plays all of the NPCs and explains the story
Isaac as Henry, a half-Orc (I forgot his class), the other one who does most of the fighting, which makes sense, since he has the most of health out of all of us, but he may get a bit weaker considering the fact that he was affected the most by the aging spell we were hit with last session
Duncan as Aven, a Fairy sorcerer, who we don’t know much about, except that he’s 2’ tall and knows a lot of spells
