Hello!
Today I am posting a blog about how the intelligence of NPC's in minecraft should be improved so they actually can do something other than trade.
Why?
Well firstly, the villagers do nothing, they stand around all day waiting for you to trade with them. I think a new feature that allows villagers to build and mine stuff would be great and add more purpose to the villagers. Secondly, villages aren't the easiest of things to find, not saying it's impossible, but they are difficult to find. It's your first time playing an you travel for days and days and finally come across a village to see that all they do is trade, they just stand and trade. You have to admit that it would be pretty disappointing.
The Village Itself
The village itself is well structured and easy to access your way around to each house. Personally and probably many more think that a blacksmith should be added for all villages. Nobody wants to finally find a village with no blacksmith, no loot, NO BOOTY! Sorry got a bit carried away there.
Improvements
Adding a way to control the NPC's to do work like mining or building. I know there are mods for that but I personally hate mods, not sure why, just no love for them. Getting different drops from the different types of villagers [Butcher- Beef, Librarian- Book etc.]. TAKING AWAY THE ANNOYING SOUND THAT THEY MAKE! God I hate that sound, most people do. I think that a voice should be added for them that says "Hello". Each villager has a different voice. Lastly I think specific villager genders should be added. It's a bit weird breeding villagers when you don't know the gender. It feels like your forcing love. The breeding system is a bit weird as well but I don't mind.
