ok i was surfing the blog's front page a not to long ago and i saw like 6 blogs on the pop real complaining about kids being on minecraft and kids on pmc and kids online in general. i have one thing to say about that. its not your job to raise those children.
im going to start of with a couple of pics displaying how long pmc has been around
(yes i wet to reddit to make my point, i usually avoid it like the plague but that's for another blog)
look at how many accounts there are, now if we take out about 500 for doubled accounts that still leaves us with 1,017,519 accounts since this sight was created
and minecraft is a game that a lot of adults probably don't know about so that leaves us with less that know about this sight, now i assume that we all speak English and that leaves us with even less so were looking at more than 500,000 of those accounts being used by kids under the age of say 16,
now back to why it annoyed me that people are complaining about kids on the internet.
iv always been a big guy ad a little awkward and even more so when i was in school. after a move in grade three i never had many friends until around grade 11 and 12. (i graduated a year ago) so i was with out people who had similar interests for 8 years. my child hood would have sucked if not for the internet, i found people who liked magic the gathering and anime and all the other things that kids told me were stupid and i made friends for the first time in ages. if it weren't for the internet during my younger years i probably would have been some relay depressed kid who attempted suicide every other day. now if you are one of those kids who feel like life is over, its not its only just begun for me and im truing 20 in a couple of months, and you are among friends here, we may argue and bicker but were all united by our love for this one game. if your having troubles in your life and need to talk you can go ahead and pm me. and know that there are people who care.
as for the main argument used in those blogs i mentioned at the top which was "there is swearing and nudity on the internet, its inappropriate" i agree with you the WORLD is an inappropriate place for young ages. they will eventually be exposed to that kind of stuff its up to the parents to stop there exposure for as long as possible. so please stop your complaining, its not going to stop kids from being on the internet

i got a comment that said "My poor little sister is *young age*, and has a girl "princess" skin...the *bad word* she (and I) get from guys on servers is *more bad words* ridiculous :/ " so i am going to post a blog about what to do if your hasseld, bullied, or overall abused during time on servers or the internet ill post a link here

Second, it's obviously not our job to watch or take care of internet children but some people like myself do, do this because in the end we're eventually hoping to give them manners or have at least learned it.
I won't lie I've got pissed off over kids on minecraft because the 0% respect factor. Their parents bought them a 30$ game they didn't buy and they go around griefing or pissing people off. As an adult, it's up to you to either fix the situation or ban them. That is if you're mod or admin. If you're a kid, then take what I say into consideration, as some kids I've met have manners and respect.
Be nice to everyone, if it's boring start your own server and mess it up. Turn on another game. Don't go in and mess with peoples stuff or them. If you're a teenager 16+ then I just feel sorry for you.
The point I'm making is, it is up to other adults to tend and care for others even if it is over the internet.
That part you mentioned "It's the parents job" literally pissed me off.

Relating to your blog, tho not the main point, you claim 500 accounts to be doubled, honestly we figure that number is in the thousands, though tens of thousands would be pushing it. I do know for a fact 500 is low as I have personally banned 2 specific server owners around that many times, each, on separate accounts each time.
While you blog does have a bit of grammar/spelling/capitalization issues, it isn't terrible, and better than the effort I feel like inputting the few times I want to blog, that coupled with lack of ideas makes me not blog often. I appreciate you trying regardless.
You'd probably be outside being play kick-the-can or something.
Anyways, I think you make some good points. I'm speaking as one of "the kids" that are so hated. I don't usually tell people my age to avoid being judged. I've found that if I use good grammar and have a relatively nice attitude on the internet, people will assume I'm older. Then, if they ever know my actual age, they normally won't judge me on age alone. But it seems it people know by age first, they'll judge me solely on that, which I don't find very fair. Anyways, good job on this. :)
