The length of a block in Minecraft is 1 meter; this is made up of 16 pixels in length. A block with each length 100/16 is what would be considered a 1x1x1 Pixel block, or in short terms and for the sake of this blog I shall call them PB1; the volume of a PB1 is 244.140625*. When working out mass, we must have the Density and the volume, so the density of the item, we’ll use Diamond as an example, is 3.52 g/cm3, we do:
3.52 * 244.140625 = 859.375g (the mass of a 1x1x1 Diamond Pixel Block)
Now to work out the weight for armour such as boots etc. you’ll need to find out how many PB1s there are, for your sake I have done this task for you and you can now calculate for yourself the mass of every piece of armour in game. Yet, for demonstration purposes I shall do Diamond boots as an example
Diamond boots have 144 PB1s so we do 859.375 * 144 and there we get the mass of Diamond boots which is 123,750gor about 123kg (equivalent to 123 litres of water)
Have fun working out the mass of objects! I didn’t have too much fun making the charts but eh.
*Worked out by doing (100/16)^3
To work them out, first get your material in the Density section and times it by 244.140625 (I did this for you in the brackets of each one) and then get that number and multiply it by your object in the Pixel block section to get your mass. E.g. Gold Armour:
Click to reveal
Diamond - 3.52 g/cm3 (859.375g)
Gold - 19.30 g/cm3 (4711.914063g)
Iron - 7.80 g/cm3 (1904.296875g)
Leather (dry) - 0.86 g/cm3 (209.9609375g)
(No chain-mail)
Pixel Blocks of Armour
Helmet: 154
Chest-plate: 280
Leggings: 280
Boots: 144
Thanks for reading. Time taken to write, aprox. 1 hour (not including the hours spent researching densities)
Thanks for the Pop-Reel guys :)

Maths.......
i 'supose you get a dimond anyways though..... o.o
1. A cubic meter of iron is x pounds/grams/kilos, a cubic meter of gold is x pounds/grams/kilos, and cubic meter of diamond is x pounds/grams/kilos.
2. The weight of each ingot/gem is the weight of the block / 9.
3. Calculations:
Hat = ingot * 5
Chestplate = ingot * 8
Pants = ingot * 7
Shoes = ingot * 4
I guess it depends on how you approach it, but that's how I would've done it.
Although with this method you do get some... interesting... values, like one diamond being 391 kilograms. o.o
Although, I guess it's technically more accurate as it uses the actual in-game units (9 ingots/gems making one block, therefore each one weighs a ninth of the block).
And btw... Why do everyone make such a big deal out of getting to the pop reel. It's one of the easiest achivements you can get here on PMC...
But funny blog anyway. So i'll give it a diamond! ;)
I make a big deal because.. Idk newbie gets Pop-Reel, sounds cool. I do believe that Paril should make it harder though :P
