Welcome to my first interview! Before I begin, I just want to apologize to all of my subscribers for not posting anything recently. Once football season is over, I should be producing blogs more regularly.
Me: Welcome, Glass. Thanks for taking time out of your busy life to participate in this interview.
Glass: At least I can finally get some recognition for the hard work that I do.
Me: What kind of hard work are you talking about?
Glass: Oh, I don't know, being the only cubic transparent block, and one of the most used building materials!
Me: I see. That kind of answers my first question... Moving on. What's your life like on a daily basis?
Glass: Well, first, I get used for measuring the build, and destroyed. Next, I'm a placeholder for redstone or a liquid. Finally, I become a window. I fill in the gaps. They see right through me, like I'm not even there.
Me: Sounds like a pretty tough life. Is there anything you enjoy?
Glass: Quite simply, I enjoy the fact that I'm not sand any more. I wasn't particularly fond of being blown up in cannons, compacted in to sandstone, or stepped on and ignored.
Me: You've definitely become more useful for building with your transformation. What are your favorite blocks to be used with in a build?
Glass: Definitely Stone Bricks and Wooden Planks. They never try and steal the show, like wool, and their simple colors complement my lack of colors well.
Me: Simplicity. I like it. What's your opinion on your cousin, the Glass Pane?
Glass: It's just not the same, you know? I feel like kids are choosing him over me more often these days for their modern houses and clean-lined skyscrapers, just because he's smaller and more efficient. Luckily, real builders still appreciate me to some extent, but their numbers are dwindling.
Me: I can tell that you have some resentment towards Steve and his builder friends... Looks like I'm out of questions. Do you have any last words for the viewers at home?
Glass: Yes, yes I do. I want you all to remember that I am no mere building material. I can be used to enhance anything and everything, and can be a clear foundation for whatever you desire to create. Thank you all for giving me this opportunity. Stay glassy, PlanetMinecraft!
Me: Glassic.
