This is all really amazing! (Pwease tell me how to do those white outlines. I live for those. XD)
make sure your background is transparent, or the layer is off, and any other things you don't want to be highlighted
your image will be highlighted in a blue color(at least in medibang) and find your button that says "select", click on it, look for "inverse", click that, then click "expand" and choose your pixel amount
Then, on a layer UNDERNEATH your image layer, fill it in with any color you'd like. i use an off-white, because pure white is a big nono as is pure black
depending on your image mood, find the hue that matches best, i.e if you're drawing a spooky green zombie use a yellowish-greenish off-white
