Tonight, I'm on somewhat of a posting spree. Putting up old poems, and the like.

#Bandages

Stickers and patches
Both cover my holes
Mend my deep bruising
Repair my sad soul

For I'm frightened of antiseptics
Of bandages I'm wary
I've faced infection once before
I'd say it's not all scary
Love is like dry paper
Supple, white & true
And similar in that regard
Is trust, a friendship blue

But fear might cripple me
And bring my angel wings to rot
To never fly again, they say
A Dragon so distraught

For one to hear and one accept
Love must come before
But to some hold tight that frugal gift
Of others do they whore
