This is a poem and i'm still learning so please don't make fun of it in the comments:
When I picked up it's flappy cover
I knew I was in a new
world to discover

With monsters and
plants and
robots of all sorts

I wasn't me
I was a green monster far away

I knew I had to be the person who wrote them

I picked up the rough wood surface of the pencil trying to keep
the words in sync

5 years later i'm writing again
this time with pen
with a fail

1 year later i did it again

This time not alone
