WORLD THAT I CREATED
MAGIC SYSTEM
there are THREE types of magic and THREE ways to get it.
WAYS OF OBTAINING MAGIC:
-NATURAL: born with
-SYNTHETIC: created
-GAINED: read or learned, usually from books
TYPES OF MAGIC:
-ELEMENTAL: the standard air, fire, water, and earth, but it has a subsection called astral, which is the moon, sun, and stars
-PHYSICAL: basically telekinesis. if you have really strong physical magic, you can learn a certain type of elemental and get gravitational magic, which is a subtype of physical.
-MENTAL: brain waves, audio, feelings; usually users find a way to manipulate all. users are standardly participants kn the arts.
LITTLE TIDBITS N STUFF IDK:
EVERY LIVING THING, WHETHER IT HAS NATURAL MAGIC OR NOT, GENERATES MAGIC POWER. if someone LEARNS magic, the later in life they do, the stronger it is- until they use up their reserves. then its normal power.
certain people can TRANSFER magic until it is used up. to transfer, YOU MUST HAVE NATURAL MAGIC.
The less healthy you are, the less powerful your magic is at that point of time.
RACES
HUMAN: standard human. however, they can have different ear shapes. pointy, different flavors of pointy, droopy, different flavors of droopy- you get it.
INSECTIKIN: bug people. they can have multiple limbs, and those limbs have a 98.7% chance of being respective bug limbs. they can jave antennae or bigger eyes, or both. all of them have wings, if their respective bug has wings. sometimes theyll have wings next to their ear-holes (bug people dont have normal ears). They can also retain the abilities that their respective bug has (e.g. ant-people can lift up to twenty times their own weight, which makes them easy construction workers).
AVIAKIN: bird people. they can range from angel-like to literal Ritos. some only have wings, some have bird legs, and some are full on anthropomorphic birds. the ones with only wings have a 28.4% chance of being born with smaller wing appendages, usually on their ears or ankles. people with bird legs and wings can get them on their ears, but not ankles. IF YOU CALL THEM FURRIES, THEY WILL ACTUALLY HURT YOU. IT IS LITERALLY ILLEGAL.
REPTIKIN: reptilians. see also: skyrim. some of them look like that, but not all. they have an affinity for water, some of them. they can also retain the physical features as reptiles- funky eyelids, regrowable limbs, etc.
SEAKIN: basically selkies but with EVERY SINGLE WATER ANIMAL. LITERALLY ALL OF THEM. IF YOU CAN FIND IT IN THE OCEAN, IT IS IN THIS RACE. IT IS THE MOST DIVERSE SPECIES IN THE WORLD.
