I think the block system is a little bit flawed. I feel like when you block someone, you shouldn't be able to see any of their posts, comments, or anything of that sort.
I mean, the whole point of blocking is so you don't have to see/acknowledge that they're on the same site as you.
Currently (I'm pretty sure, haven't experienced being blocked myself), the only way to get this is to have them block you, which I have no idea how you would get that going without any arguments or unneeded drama.
I talked to a few others and they seemed to agree with this.
Definitely agree. If you block someone, there's no need for you to also be able to see their posts (it's almost not fair even). It could just lead to more drama and a never ending cycle.
I agree, also making it where you can't go to their profile, would be helpful too. It could be hard to resist the urge and you would be needlessly upsetting yourself in the process.
I struggle with it myself all the time, so I had to get a url blocker app, and it helps.
