The Wandering Willow

October 27th 2020...

Rain, 16, had put off pumpkin shopping until the last minute, she didn't need one but her mother insisted on getting one to
keep up with the everybody else, Rain, who wasn't to bothered by this, drives to every pumpkin patch in town
none of them had a single pumpkin, not wanting to come home with no pumpkin goes on her phone and searches up "pumpkin patches*
immediately results pop up and the first one reads "!!!FULL STOCK!!!" *this was perfect* she thought to herself, it was 20 miles
out of town and it was getting late, *I could go to tomorrow but it will be fine* 25 minutes later she arrives at the pumpkin patch.

The sign reads: if one pumpkin is broken, another must take its place.

The first thing she notices is that the building is run down and no one seems to be here, the second thing she notices is that there
is one pumpkin in the middle of a patch, creeped out, she hesitates but walks over to the pumpkin, its quite large and very heavy,
trying to pick up, she falls on it, the pumpkin is broken, very heated, she gets up and starts to walk away but something tugs at her leg...
a vine has grown all the way up her leg, her eyes proceed to turn orange, scared and not knowing what to do she begins to scream as she is
pulled into the ground, never to be heard of again, legend has it that she walks that same patch, a slight echo following her, leg still
binded by the vine, eyes still pumpkin orange, she may never leave until someone takes her place, wandering around one pumpkin in the center of the patch...
