first of three entries.
i pre-made all three of them so then I could post all of them at once.

of course, I ended up taking this round too seriously, and created a bio sheet for this character, and I’ve got like two themes going on for each skin.
this guy was originally created as just a basic side character for a book I wrote, but I thought it would’ve been more interesting to create further lore on him outside of that book.

so, this is his normal outfit from his home world, and it’s “themed” off the summer season.
his home world is normally very hot, since it’s pretty much a desert. so, hes got sandals, shorts, n all that to fit the climate.
also, his glasses are a little different. they’re like prescription glasses (otherwise, he can’t see; he’ll be blind without them), but they also work like sunglasses at the same time, too.

// Personality // Determined, has slight trust issues, but he’s normally calm about things (unless it’s anything to do with the fake ninth known rift, and even he doesn’t necessarily like the TRUE ninth rift, either). He does his best to help when- and wherever possible, and he knows how to make people laugh. He also prefers if things are straight-forward and to the point.

// Dislikes // Cold weather, fall/winter, tight spaces, the fake ninth known rift of the world (The Void), the Shadow King, and the Ghost House. He also despises the sixth and eighth known rifts--Dream City and Oblivion Foundry--because he finds the things that are done there to be just horrible.
// Extra // He was born in the third known rift of the New Universe - the Valley of Runes. Growing up, he began his job delivering packages to the other rifts, especially the fifth known rift, The Middlegrounds. Most of his delivery work was done there, where he heard about the sacred core cubes protecting each of the nine rifts, and the Shadow King arising from the dead to take over the true ninth rift (“alternate Avaloria”), and soon the entire New Universe. Quickly enough, he began despising the harsh, freezing temperature of the borderline rift, but there was no way for him to get out of doing this terrible work he hated; at least, not until he committed his most childish mistake he had ever made. When he was only eleven years old, he stumbled across a rare occurrence: finding the ‘Mirror of Elsewhere’ in an abandoned temple site in the next camp over (in the VOR). Being the young kid he was at the time, his curiosity got the best of him and he entered, not knowing what this mirror was, what it could do, and even what the proper way to enter the mirror was. The mirror took him to a parallel version of the seventh known rift of the New Universe - the Specter Vales, and this is where he met his best friend Amaris (“Atlas”) Lucine. Now, Elio and Atlas work together to assist other lost travelers across the nine known rifts, with the Golden Temple and Glacier’s Gate as no exceptions; despite being stuck inside the Mirror for the rest of their lives.
