He honestly wouldn't have it any other way, he operated, fought, alone. He spent his earnings alone. He earned his notoriety, alone. He spent his entire life, alone. If he's going to crumble, it'll be alone as well.
He was just like other exotic hunters of this age. He'd had a dream, an ideal, determination. However, he got to keep his life. Monsters were elusive, presumably dangerous and least of all, foregoing. Exotic hunters would train their entire life just for a chance to encounter a monster, yet for most, this was an unreal reality. Once you were finished your relentless training, stripping most of their emotion, you would be shipped away like a puppet, sent on dangerous quests that either ended after months of searching or after a quick death and unless you were lucky, you might escape with a few lives.*will finish later*
TL;DR for judgesThis guy was all cool and the like, he faced a monster he shouldn't have even seen and monster went all spook on him and he barely escaped with his life, but the monster infected/poisoned him and now he has ugly face and hair
