Lore Text Version: Le Casa Naranja is the ultimate getaway estate. Hiding amongst the many vineyards and olive groves ornamenting the lush Spanish countryside, the 19th century manor is located along the Tagus river on the outskirts of Toledo, Spain. Previously the residence of the late Princess Esma Hadrianus, the ornate architecture and beautiful gardens have been recently touched up to provide the dream home for anyone wishing to relax like royalty.
The manor was completed in 1880 by the royal family as an homage to the great Señor Hadrianus who claimed the land after defeating the fierce Tagussians in 1605. As can be seen, the classical map room has been preserved to show the territory he liberated.
The unusually extravigant red wood on the exterior is a result of the bright clay that the local Acacia pines are grown in. On the interior, the dark spruce was grown on the distant French border and importated to create the beautiful contrast inside.
Taking a look inside the building you can see that the extravigant kitchen has been restored, complete with a roasting pit and wine selection. You can enjoy a royal banquet overlooking the illustrious gardens or play chess.
Finally, upstairs contains 3 bedrooms including the original royal quarters and two cosy guest bedrooms adorned with classical artwork and fresh flowers.
This estate has been designed to capture the imagination of anyone, young or old, who lays eyes upon it and take them back to a simpler time, of adventure and the unknown. For this reason I love it and I hope you do too.
