When joining this group, I made a world. Within the first day, I had found a sunken ship, then drowned in it due to trying to breathe in signs instead of doors. I lost all of that stuff because I had trapped myself while dying. It was very discouraging.

I'm back on it again thanks to when Adrestio shared Minecraft Askew, which made me want to try new resource packs. I've already built myself a little home that I think is really cute. Today I found my first copper vein (I think?), and my first geode (finally, a spyglass) after a long time of fruitless caving. I also met my first wandering trader (after hearing and ignoring another) and tamed its llamas as well as a wolf. I'm trying right now to hatch turtle eggs and my wolf just trampled two of them. Stuff is still looking up though!. Here are pictures of my little home:

This datapack is a small damage rebalance which could be interesting to get used to, I suppose! https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/logical-iframes/

I've decided to relocate the join requests to an official forum post instead of the guestbook. I don't get notifications from the guestbook and so they often go unnoticed for a while. This should speed up the approval process.

track your hoarding! just enough items is another good mod for displaying the content in your game, but this mod helps you record everything you've interacted with.

Have been in the progress of making a questbook to help add some visual structure to my game. Even if the incentive is extra XP, so far the motivation is nice!

I suggest the FTB Quests mod and the Quests Additions mod by NaturaSpell, once you get a hang of the controls it has a lot of customization without needing to code. I'd like to release a version of my questbook for download that is more vanilla as you can share these files.

I've got a list of my own quests that I have been wanting to put into a mod, but idk how to code it. So instead I assign a number to the list, use an online random number generator and complete the quests daily. A questbook sounds interesting.
