This datapack adds Heart Crystal Ore, which can be found around y -35 in Deepslate.
In order to receive Heart Crystal Shards from them, you must use a Diamond or Netherite pickaxe.
Craft 6 Heart Crystal Shards into a Heart Crystal and consume it by right-clicking it to increase your Max Health by 1 Heart. (for a maximum of 30 Hearts)
Heart Crystal Ore can be broken with silk touch and fortune like any normal ore as well, though it still requires a Diamond/Netherite pickaxe.
(This datapack has compatibility with my Potion of Spelunking datapack which allows you to see ores through walls with a rare potion.)

This pack adds Heart Crystals which can add 1 Heart to your permanent Max Health.
Currently, they can only be found by defeating bosses:
- Elder Guardians
- Evokers
- Withers
- Ender Dragons
The Looting Enchantment increases the drop rate.

How to Install
1. Download the Datapack from this page by clicking the download button.
2. Download the Resourcepack from the button beneath the Datapack's download button.
3. Drop the Datapack .zip file in the "datapacks" folder in your world's folder. This can also be done while creating a world using the "Data Packs" button.
4. Drop the Resourcepack in the "resourcepack" folder in your minecraft's game directory, which can be accessed by pressing the "Open Pack Folder" button in your game while looking at your Resourcepacks.
5. Enable the Resourcepack and type "/reload" in your game to enable the pack!

Running a non-vanilla server like Spigot?
Run "/function dan:non_vanilla_server" to toggle it. This way, players no longer get a bug where their hearts double when they die.

Heart Crystals are now obtained through crafting together 6 Heart Crystal Shards which are gathered by mining Heart Crystal Ore with a diamond or netherite pickaxe around y -35 in 1.17.
This replaces the old way of obtaining it by defeating bosses.
