When the skulk becomes clogged and cannot possess more souls from the dead, the corrupted soul bursts into the air. This entity is a fusion of all the unprocessable souls and wanders around the land aimlessly haunting the person who dares to step into its territory. Surely, this beast does not spawn from thin air, right? No, this beast is created by an undiscovered block called the skulk “ejector”. The only use of the skulk ejector in nature is to combine the souls and release them into the Minecraft world. From the appearance of the mob, we can identify from which mobs' souls this mob has been made. This creature is a product of the combination of a creeper and a wither and some corrupted energy from the skulk. If we talk about game mechanics, it can be classified as a mini-boss. The drops still remain a mystery as no individual has accomplished the task yet. Legends say that if we somehow defeat the distorted soul, we get awarded our own pet! Which is a cute version of the wretched soul. Its appearance would be like an angel with a floating golden halo above its head. Though, it is just a legend and hasn't been confirmed yet. Would you be the first person to end the terror of the soul? Would you be the one who confirms the legends? Good luck if you are the chosen one.
