This isn't meant to be super serious, I just got the idea and decided to try it out, so hope you like it.I couldn't think of any other way to write it, so I made it a poem. Also this is my first poem, so I have no idea if this will turn out good. but, here goes.
As Steve pulls his boat up in the sand
And he looks around the land
He sees familiar things
Familiar green grass
The usual blocky trees
The same old pigs,
And the same old cows
Maybe farther in,
He says in his mind
Imagining the things he might find
Maybe floating islands
Or abandoned castles
Perhaps a new friend
What does it matter
It will be an adventure
Hundreds of blocks he has walked
To himself much he has talked
But still nothing new
Will it ever change
Maybe it's just far away
Thoughts wrestling in his mind
This is not what he craved
But maybe he should just wait
As he goes farther, he sees strange things
A hole in the ground leading down deep
A tall pile of dirt towering to the sky
Even chopped tress strewn about the land
Has someone been here
Is it a friend, or is it a foe
Maybe he's not so alone, after all
As he continues, the signs increase
As he walks, his doubts decrease
There must be someone else
Who else could make this mess
Definetely not an enderman
Not a creeper, not a zombie
It had to be another being
Nothing else could explain what he was seeing
As he topped the next hill
Oh what did he see
Is that a house, it must be near
But wait, it looks so familiar
That cobblestone roof, and those spruce walls
So similar to his own abode
Far on the other side of the ocean
But as he comes closer, he gets a notion
Its becoming clear, everthing is here
His same sheep pens, and chicken coops
That same farm, and old mine
Even a snow golem
Like the one he so misses
How is it the same!
As it clicks inside him
And the reality hits him
He mutters under his breath
"Curse this new update.
Now the world is round"
As Steve pulls his boat up in the sand
